The Shed @ Cranmore Lodge

This is a space that is fully interchangeable according to the needs of clients.

The space is available for any activity from writers’ retreats to meditation, yoga classes, corporate meetings or dinner parties. Meals, accommodation and downtime activities can be arranged as per clients’ request, and the space is wheelchair friendly.

The Shed is situated approximately three hours from Johannesburg and is ideal for the artist, the writer or the corporate organization that requires the peace and quiet of a South African rural setting, plus the amenities that make for a comfortable working experience.



The Shed has free Wi-Fi and lots of space to move around in for breakaway sessions or for individual relaxation during extended bookings.

Please note that there are four dogs and a cat that share this home.

Wakkerstroom offers peace and quiet, wonderful birding and many other attractions.
